Troughing Belt Conveyors
The industry standard for high-volume bulk material handling. Designed with multi-roller idler sets to cup the belt, maximizing carrying capacity while preventing edge spillage over long distances.
Heavy-Duty Bulk Handling
When moving immense tonnages of loose bulk material—like coal, iron ore, crushed stone, or grain—a flat belt simply will not suffice. Troughing conveyors solve this by utilizing specialized idler sets (typically 3 or 5 rollers) angled at 20°, 35°, or 45°. This configuration forces the flexible rubber belt into a "U" or "V" shape, drastically increasing the cross-sectional load area.
PECPL Troughing Conveyors form the backbone of industrial infrastructure worldwide. By cupping the material securely in the center of the belt, these systems not only multiply the transport capacity but also naturally align the load, preventing catastrophic edge spillage and protecting the mechanical components below from abrasive dust.
System Advantages
- Maximum Capacity: Carries 30-50% more than flat belts.
- Spillage Control: Steep angles keep material centered.
- Structural Integrity: Heavy-duty channels or truss frames.
- Long Service Life: Distributed load wear across idlers.
